SALES MANAGER/ESTIMATOR FOR ELEVATOR COMPANY - Compensation: SALARY + COMMISSION in Long Island City, New York

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Seeking a highly motivated sales respresentative for the New York City area to obtain new installations and moderation contracts for our existing and new potential customers. To be able to meet with clients aqnd exam the work sites/area to give proposals for work to done of customers premises. Understanding the needs of the customer as to pretaining to the being installed. Familiarity with the necessary materials and parts needed for instation and New York Department of Buildings Code requirements.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Candidates must have a minium of 5 years to 10 years of elevator sales/estimator experience, an or elevator mechanical knowledge of installation and functionality of elevators.
2. Must also have knowledge ofn elvatorn parts and materials needed for installation.
3. Needs to know how tomread blue prints for the building and installation drawings
4. Knowledge of the parts supplies and providers.
5. Knowledge and understanding of the Department of Buildings permits, codes, and requirements need to pass city inspections.
6. Must have some knowledge of how to estimate jobs for competitive pricese for this New York marketing area.
7. Must be clear spoken, able to work with others, and ambitous person to help the company to higher levels.
8. Computer knowledge is preferred.
